“The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook”

What ho, Sherlockian Foodies! There’s a new cookbook afoot.

The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook: Wickedly Good Meals and Desserts to Die For, edited by former Cosmopolitan magazine editor-in-chief Kate White, features recipes from several famous and popular authors. Of interest to Sherlockians is Laurie R. King’s “Mrs. Hudson’s Coffee Sheet Cookies,” because they are Holmesy and sound pretty darn delish.

I’m partial to my copies of Dining with Sherlock Holmes: A Baker Street Cookbook, by Julia Carlson Rosenblatt and Frederic H. Sonnenschmidt, and The Sherlock Holmes Victorian Cookbook, by William Bonnell. I haven’t actually prepared any of the recipes in these books, but I do dearly love reading and pretending that I’m Julia Child.

I installed a plugin that give you (the blog poster) an option to create a thread on the forum where replies can be funneled. I usually remember to click it and fix it, but in this case, I dun goofed. If you don’t know how to do it, remind me and I’ll show you. It’s super easy, you just have to actually remember to set it up.
