*Note: I edited the horrific misspelling of “Baskerville” in the title of this article. It was too wrong to reproduce. From broadwayworld.com: Ken Lud

His blue eyeshadow looks so goofy here. And Jude Law looks like he has no neck. That being said, they look relatively comfy on that carpet!
So there, yes, you can post gifs. I don’t think I know how to post gifs, but it can be done, as you have demonstrated thusly.

          Well, aren’t you a fancy pants. 😉
Man, someone really needs to take a face wipe and deal with that eye shadow. So 80s, RDJ. That bonnet is smashing, though. Woot!

The stalker cat is so rude. In the video I saw, the one cat was giving serious side-eye to another cat, who was pretty much being a goof. Then the camera pans back to the side-eye cat, and you see stalker cat just waiting to slap.

Yeah, I came up with a whole back story for the three of them.

I’ll be attending Holmes, Doyle, & Friends Two in Dayton, OH this Friday-Saturday March 20-21st. http://www.agratreasurers.net/ It’s a yearly event now organized by the Agra Treasurers of Dayton, and features presentations by prominent Holmesians including BSI/ASH Jacqueline Morris and Vincent Wright. This will be my third time attending (though several years have passed in between) this particular Symposium and I look forward to catching up with friends and fans.

so Granada’s Sherlock Holmes first aired on American tv, on PBS, on 3/14/1985. Happy 30th birthday! Hard to believe it’s been so long.

I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere says:

“Michael Cox was the brainchild behind the production, and with the assistance of John Hawkesworth and a number of other writers, brought the series to life in an authentic Victorian era setting. It was lavishly produced and is remembered (at least in the first two or three series) as being very faithful to the original Canon.

A Study in Celluloid – Michael Cox, producer of the Granada Sherlock Holmes series, takes readers behind the scenes with Jeremy Brett.Starring Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes and David Burke as a level-headed, intelligent and ready-for-action Watson, the series burned an image of Sherlock Holmes into the minds of an entire generation. The series brought us guest stars that included such notables as Eric Porter, Roger Hammond, Jeremy Kemp, Joss Ackland, Gayle Hunnicut and many more.”

Hallo, all! My name is Madison. I went by the same handle on Holmesian.net (R.I.P.). It’s lovely to meet you! A bit about myself…

I’m a physics and English double major with a minor in theatre. I am an actor by trade (my profile picture is me as Jo March from a recent production of Little Women) and live with my spouse and two cats. I have loved Sherlock Holmes for nearly all of my twenty-four years. I am particularly fond of Laurie R. King’s Mary Russell novels and the Granada television series featuring Jeremy Brett! Please feel free to message me about anything at all, but especially with recommendations! Chances are I’ve read or seen it, but I am always excited to experience new incarnations of the famous detective.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the forums!

      Regards,
      S.C.
